MPCA Feedlot Program
The MN Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) Feedlot Program is administered by the Red Lake County Soil and Water Conservation District. The RLC SWCD assists livestock producers in complying with MPCA rules and regulations.
Manure Sampling Kits are available at the RLC SWCD office.
Livestock Exclusion Program
The Livestock Exclusion Program provides 75% cost-share assistance for fence or access control to exclude livestock out of the rivers, streams, and gravel pit areas. A Cost-Share Assistance Contract, along with the required supporting documentation, needs to be completed and approved by the Soil and Water Conservation Board before any work is done in order to receive reimbursement.
