Aquatic Invasive Species Program

AIS Program

The Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Program is a new DNR Program that is administered by the Red Lake County SWCD Office.

Aquatic Invasive Species are invasive species are species that are not native to Minnesota and cause economic or environmental harm or harm to human health.

Minnesota's natural resources are threatened by a number of invasive species such as zebra mussels, Eurasian watermilfoil, common buckthorn, and emerald ash borer. Invasive species can occur on land or in the water.
If your business/organization is interested in receiving Aquatic Invasive Species promotional items for distribution, please contract the Red Lake County SWCD office for more information.
