Culvert Inventory

Culvert Inventory for Red Lake County

In 2010, Red Lake County SWCD received a $25,000.00 grant from Northwest Minnesota Foundation to conduct a Culvert Inventory throughout Red Lake County.

Field work for this project started in June of 2011.

In 2012, two Part-time Temporary staff were hired to collect data for the Culvert Inventory during the months of June, July, and August. The two staff hired collected field data for Wylie, Louisville, Browns Creek, and River Townships. The Red Lake County SWCD completed the final report and the final financial report to NW MN Foundation for this project.

In 2013, two Part-Time Temporary staff were hired to collect data for the Culvert Inventory during the months of June, July, and August. The two staff hired collected field data for Red Lake Falls and Lake Pleasant Townships.

In 2014, the Red Lake County SWCD hired two Part-Time Temporary staff, to continue collecting culvert data for the Culvert Inventory, beginning in Gervais Township. These two individuals began working in May and worked into the month of September. Culvert information was collected in Gervais, Terrebonne, North Emardville, Emardville, and Poplar River Townships.

In 2015, the Red Lake County SWCD hired two Part-Time Temporary staff, to finish collecting culvert data for the Culvert Inventory in Red Lake County. Field data collection was completed in the fall of 2015.

Red Lake County SWCD completed the Culvert Inventory Database and Arc GIS Map for Red Lake County in the fall of 2016.
